NMIXX Kyujin Profile – You should know
A 7-member girl group “NMIXX” debuted on February 22, 2022, from JYP Entertainment. While this new girl group just started to prove their talents, it’s no wonder that fans are really supporting them in every way!
NMIXX’s Kyujin may have a grown-up look but in reality, she still has some childishness hidden from being the youngest member, delivering her cuteness to everyone!

Kyujin, the youngest member of NMIXX, was born in 2006. She recently became a high school student in 2022 and is currently attending Hanlim Performing Arts High School.
Actually, she admitted that she was still in middle school when she debuted with NMIXX! ! After debuting, she graduated from Nakwon Middle School. By the way, Jang Gyuri from fromis_9 is from the same junior high school!
She was just 15 years old when she debuted, but she became a trainee in 2017 when she was in the 5th grade of elementary school, so she joined JYP as the youngest trainee.
Kyujin also became a JYP trainee through a private audition at the dance school “WithBill Dance Academy” which was invited by an acquaintance.
The trainee period is about 4 to 5 years, and she appeared in the unveiling event “Showcase” by JYP trainees in 2018 and 2019. By the way, when she was a trainee, her activity name was spelled “GYUJIN” but later on, it was clarified that it spelled “KYUJIN” after her debut.
In the showcase, NMIXX member Jiu appeared as a kids team of NiziU members Lima and Miihi, who are active mainly in Japan. Since they were close in age, they practiced together a lot when we were trainees.
In July 2021, the debut project of the JYP rookie girl group called ” JYPn ” started, and in August, along with Jinnie and Jiwoo, it was announced as a member of the new group in Cardi B’s “Press” dance cover video!
And Kyujin, who made her debut as the youngest member of NMIXX, will show off her all-rounder skills with his vocal, dance, and rap performances.

Kyujin’s Childhood Photos Revealed
Kyujin’s childhood photo was released on NMIXX’s official Instagram on Children’s Day (May 5) in 2022.
As you slide through the photos, you can gradually see the current features. Even now, Kyujin remains innocent, but her childhood dream was to become a painter.
After that, when she became an elementary school student, she admired the idols she saw on TV and started aiming to become a singer!

She has Adorable Cat-like Visuals
Kyujin is known for her cat-faced visuals. She often likens herself to a “cat” and has nicknames related to cats. Among them, Kyujin’s representative nickname is ” Ango (앙고) ” which means “sly cat / cheeky cat”.
This Ango is a nickname taken from the initials of “Cunning (앙큼한)” and “Cat (고양이)”, and was named by NMIXX leader Haewon.
She also often shows off cat poses (called ango poses) that make poses with her hands and reproduce cats, so be sure to check them out!
In addition, it is revealed that she is a Chaeyoung fan, saying that he loves Chaeyoung of JYP’s senior group TWICE because she is like a cat!
She Sometimes Talks to Sleep
Kyujin is a solid person and has a mature side, but he also has a childish side that talks in her sleep.
According to her roommate Jiwoo, she once heard a sleep talker introducing himself, “Hello, I’m Kyujin.”
In addition, it is said that she is talking while lying down. Kyujin herself didn’t realize it until she lived in the dormitory, I know you also want to see Kyujin talking in her sleep if there’s a reality of NMIXX in the future!
