NiziU Members Popularity Ranking 2023
An audition held jointly by Japan and South Korea called the Nizi Project is where NiziU was born. The audition was broadcasted online and on TV. This is a survival-reality show where the chosen idols will debut as NiziU members.
After the show, it has finally been decided that NiziU will debut with nine members who are known to be Rima, Miihi, Mako, Ayaka, Mayuka, Riku, Maya, Rio, and Nina. The group debuted in December 2020 and released their very first single called “Step and a step”.
In addition, they released the debut single “Step and a step” in December 2020. NiziU is also known to be the fastest KPOP group that participated in the Kōhaku Uta Gassen which also attracted much attention.

About Niziu?
Nizi Project is an audition program jointly planned by JYP Entertainment, a major Korean entertainment agency, and Sony Music. Each color (individuality) overlaps, and this name was given from the desire to discover and nurture an existence like a “rainbow” that emits beautiful light.
The Nizi Project Recruitment started in mid-July 2019, and the total number of applicants exceeded 10,000. The 26 selected candidates competing for the right to debut were broadcast online from January 2020, and in April, a special feature was organized on an information program for five months.
The final successful members will be decided on June 26, 2020. Nine people, “Mako”, “Riku”, “Rima”, “Rio”, “Maya”, “Miihi”, “Mayuka”, “Ayaka”, and “Nina”, made their debut as a global girl group “NiziU”. NiziU, which debuted on December 2, 2020, has decided to participate in the “71st NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen” broadcast on December 31, and will keep an eye on future activities!

Mikoto Suzuno or more known as Miihi was born on August 12, 2004, and is a member of the girl group “NiziU”.
Before joining Nizi Project, she was a JYP Entertainment trainee for seven months. In her personal level test at the Korean training camp, she performed Wonder Girls’ “Nobody” with her outstanding singing ability as a weapon, and won first place.
Due to her innate charm and her high level of consciousness as an idol, she was chosen as the debut member of the girl group. Back when she was a child, Miihi always wanted to open her own cake shop but her destiny brought her to being an idol.
Miihi is also known to be a big fan of TWICE and her bias is known to be Tzuyu!

Mako Yamaguchi was born on April 4, 2001, and is the oldest member of the girl group “NiziU”.
At the Nizi Project audition, she won 1st place in both dance and vocals at the Japan training camp, and she recorded a good result of 1st place in the individual ranking, and she went to the Korean training camp.
At her training camp in Korea, she placed 2nd in the individual-level test, 3rd in the team mission, and 1st in the team battle. In addition to her daily physical condition management and muscle training, she wrote down the events that happened that day in her diary every day.
