Best to Worst Cook in BTS
Speaking of BTS’s popular project which is cooking even in the reality show “Running Man”, they have shown their cooking skills many times.
Since there are members who are good at cooking and members who are not good at cooking, it is BTS’s cooking plan that you do not know what will happen every time.
Along with the appearance of each member cooking, we will introduce the Best to Worst Cook in BTS in a ranking format.
BTS Worst to Best Cook Ranking
7th Place – Taehyung/ V/ Tete
Taehyung is a BTS member who has nothing to do with the best food that’s why he ranked the last when it comes to cooking. In his first cooking plan, he really just pretended to be cooking and ate a pinch, and roasted the ingredients over an open flame, showing a freewheeling appearance.
From that time on, the image of “Tete can’t cook” has been attached to the members and fans.
Even now, Tete is in charge of simple tasks such as peeling potatoes and cooking rice with a rice cooker. Members who know that they are not good at cooking praise Tete every time and watch their growth.
When Taehyung didn’t get a cooking role, he used to sing and dance to the members, but sometimes he gets angry if he doesn’t dance because it was dangerous to move in the kitchen.
As in the past, while the members are cooking hard, there are also some people eating snacks and Taehyung is one of them!
When they decided to cook with Jungkook, Taehyung tried to fry the meat by hand and washed the vegetables with hot water. You can’t resist his clumsiness feels which is very adorable!

6th Place – Namjoon/ RM
Namjoon is known as the God of Destruction and is also dangerous when he is cooking, which makes the viewer feel uncomfortable.
The members say, “Don’t cook and drive for world peace,” and when you cook, you can only take on the minimum role like washing the vegetables and such.
In the program, Namjoon held the knife upside down, cut it as if he was using a saw, and just cut one onion to make the surroundings sick.
He said that he should have had Jin teach him how to cut onions, but he also chopped them on his own.
Also, when he tried to make fried rice, he sometimes burned only the frying pan even though the food was not cooked, so it seems that Namjoon and the food are not compatible.
Namjoon started cutting vegetables to make Japchae, but he actually didn’t know how to cut onions, and when he did the carrots, they rolled and he couldn’t cut them well, so he asked Jin to teach him how to cut them.
However, while looking at the recipe, he reported that he made Ario Orio pasta himself, which surprised the fans!
Even if Namjoon is not good at cooking, you can tell that he really did his best to make it.
5th Place – J-Hope
J-hope is not particularly good at cooking, but he takes the initiative in cooking to help the members.
When he baked the meat for the members, Jin praised him as the meat he cooked is really delicious. However, it seems that it will be a little difficult for cooking that needs application, so he asks the teacher a question when making sauce!
4th Place – Jimin
Among the members, Jimin is the one who cooks without graduation. He’s also skilled when it comes to frying pans.
When Jimin cooked with Namjoon in a pair, he also casually followed him! However, there are some minor mistakes, such as making a mistake in salt and sugar or overcooking some dishes.

3rd Place – Jungkook
In the old days, Jungkook couldn’t cook because he made college potatoes and stuck them on a plate, or tried to grind sesame seeds by hand.
However, he seems to be interested in cooking recently, and seems to be baking beef and making pizza by himself. It seems that he has a good sense of cooking because his hands are also quite skillful.
At Von Voyage, he also shows how he handles fish like a pro while being taught by Jin.
He also has knowledge of cooking, and when the teacher chef asked, “What kind of kimchi can you make quickly with Chinese cabbage?”, He answered, “It’s lightly pickled,” and surprised the people around him!
2nd Place – Suga/Yoongi
Yoongi was born to his parents who ran a restaurant. However, he wasn’t really good at cooking, and when he first made a dish, he was often told that it smelled like a man.
However, now he has an image that he is completely good at cooking. In particular, he seems to be confident in the meat dishes taught by his real brother who is good at cooking!
When he baked the steak, Jungkook even said that he wanted to build a steak shop with him and said that it was better than the hotel room service.
At one point, he emphasized how to cook meat to Jungkook, so he seems to be well informed when cooking.
Also, Suga is not only good in cooking meat dishes but also in making pasta, and it is popular with the members as it is really delicious.
Fans praise it when it’s too cool to cook alone quietly and lightly! As he usually cooks, his skills are pretty wonderful!
1st Place – Jin
Jin is known for his love for cooking and eating. Among the members, he has the longest cooking history, and in cooking planning, he stands out with his familiar hands.
Jin posted photos and recipes of the dishes he made in the early days of his debut on his blog.
He cooked various dishes regardless of genre, such as omelet rice, carbonara, stewed chicken, pumpkin broccoli & mushrooms & beef stuffing.
At that time, the members often cooked, and the “mochi soup” made by Jin himself was popular!
However, he said that he lost motivation when he was told that his cooking is light and has only one pattern.
The number of times he cooked has decreased due to his busy schedule. Even so, at one point he got up early in the morning and prepared a lunch box for the members who went mountain climbing!
The mochi soup he made at this time was a little salty, but it was praised for its deliciousness. It seems that his recent specialty is baking meat.
